#46: November 14, 2006 - B's!

If you haven't seen it yet, tonight's notes are already up on the official site. I think this is one of the best shows yet. What a shame it would've been if it never aired! Thank you to Stuart for being on top of a backup recording in case Indie's mp3 stream continued to be flaky, as it has been for the past few days. Coast to coast, we've got it covered!

I really love that reading of the Koran as the intro to the show. Does anyone know where I can locate it?

Thanks, everybody. :)

Check out the July 11th broadcast, track # 16. Here's the notes on it from the official site:

"Hafiz Kani Karaca - Hashr (The Banishment): Hafiz is the man behnd this show’s introduction. Before we wade into the Fanatic Fray, we have to get straight with the big guy. The track itself is from the very amazing Music Of Islam Box set on Celestial Harmonies. They put out some great recordings from all over the world. Their recordings from Cambodia are great. But this box set, it’s like 17 CDs or so and it took me a long time to get through it all just because of the sheer amount of material but it was worth it. (CD #10)"
