Folks - forgive the delay. My head is up my..... somewhat elsewhere, shall we say.

Thanks for the comments lately. Not so much banter here since Angela moved on - that's largely down to Angela just being a funnier gal than I am. Ok, so I'll never be a girl (I hope - no offense ladies) and the funny part - sometimes you just have to admit you're shortcomings. Here's my favourite joke tho: Two fish are in a tank. One says to the other: "Can you drive this thing?"

Ahem.

Saw Henry in Buffalo, NY on the 18th. He's been very busy throughout the year with lots of travel. We get a smattering of the details from the radio shows. The current live shows showcase his trips to Haiti, Cuba, China, etc. His adventures with the National Geographic crew are terrific. He's still a powerhouse with shows that last nearly 3 hours. All killer, no filler.

Saw Henry at the Michigan Theater in Ann Arbor last night. I've attended his spoken word shows about a half dozen times over the past 20 years or so, and I think this was one of the better gigs I've seen. He seemed to thread a common theme throughout most of the stories, which all touched upon helping people out in some way. Definitely worth the $25 ticket, which is all I had to pay for my third row seat. Check it out if he hits your town.

Good one. My favourite version of that joke is:

Celine Dion walks into a bar....

Another good one is: Guy walks into a bar. "Ouch!!!!"

And here's one just for March 17th:

What did St.Patrick say as he drove the snakes out of Ireland?

"Are you alright in the back there lads?"
