Thanks to all of you for your input on the station switch and how you use this archive. I've been thinking about whether I should continue to post the shows immediately or if I should wait until they are no longer available via the KCRW site before posting them. It was never a question of if to continue posting the new shows, only when to do it. Because so many of you are listening to a copy of the show on the run instead of in front of your computer, I'd like to keep making the shows available right away. That way HIMH can keep pouncing on you wherever it may- in your car, while you're jogging, in the shower (we won't peek), at the beach (we will definitely peek-- yeah like you don't!), or doing whatever it is that you do. (Please don't detail that last part for me; I'm already emotionally scarred.)
I hope this doesn't interfere with KCRW's ability to see and appreciate the kind of reach Harmony In My Head has. In other words, if few people stream it, how will the station get clued in on the wide support and listenership HIMH really has? So please drop by KCRW over time and let them know you're listening! [ not to be Captain Obvious here, but let's keep any mention of a certain archive away from the good folks at KCRW, ok? ;-) ] Hopefully the immediate availability will continue to work out without stepping on too many toes.
See you all next week for the very first HIMH on KCRW!
