I knew this day was coming and much of my work behind the scenes has been in preparation, but it's coming sooner rather than later.

Technology marches on and the backend software that runs the site is slowly losing support from modern web servers.

We just resolved a site outage that started several days ago and are on borrowed time.

I am forced to pause my backed reorganization and focus on upgrading. Hopefully I can preserve the rich history of comments and site interactions, but regardless, the core content will live on.

If all goes well you might notice some small (or large?) visual changes but otherwise rest assured I will do my best to preserve the continuity of experience you have come to know and love.

I am aiming for this to happen the last full week of November.
